Amateur events/action at Hopkins's 9-ball tourney?

I plan to go Allen Hopkins's 9-ball tourney at the Valley Forge Convention Center either on Friday, or Saturday, or both days. I was wondering whether I should bring my cues. At the Expo held there in March, 7' Diamonds were made available for random challenge matches between whoever happened to be in the room. Any idea if something similar will happen this time?

I'll still go if it's pros-only but I won't bother bringing my cues.

I am also planning on going only for the weekend. I was wondering the same thing. I spoke with Allen today about that. He said there will be about 5 vendors there selling things. I also asked about the coin op tables. He said that would be up to APA if the tables will be there. He said probably not, but said he could give me a definite on thursday. I will call him them to see if there are tables. I plan to bring my cue anyway....
