I have been getting cues from various builders for roughly 15yrs, but rarely from TOP names. I've had DZ, Kornele, Gilbert, Scruggs, Josey, Jacoby, Woodworth, Sugar Tree, Meucci, Mcdermott, Mali, Joss, Barnhart, Bourque, Spitz, Dominiak, and I'm sure a few more. In all of my activity I have seen some pretty bad work but I have also seen some pretty amazing work. I have my favorites but also have some that I would never own their work again. I find myself being able to name quite a few I really liked, so to name them would be pretty timely. To name the ones I don't like wouldn't take too long unless I wanna nit pick every little error I've ever seen. If I were to pick my top 3 favorites, some of you wouldn't be shocked but would probably question why I've sold them, and my reason would be I wanted to try something else. I've always been in search of what is best for me, and in all my time trying and acquiring cues, I think I have concluded there is NO 'one maker makes the best cue'. One builder may make one cue that is best for you, but another they build may be one you don't care for how it plays. Just find a builder who builds how you like but if you don't like the hit of one cue made by them, try another, and another until you do find one you play well with. I've had some cues from my above listed I didn't like, but I've also had cues by the same builders that played phenomenally. I will take a pic of my current cues as all my players are built by different cue-makers. I have currently 4 players and 2 break cues lol When I actually get out to play I have a truly hard time picking which to use so they all come with me and all get played with at some point. How many players and who are they made by do YOU have?

P.S. MY top 3 would be DZ, Gilbert, and the older Joss from late 80's to very early 90's. BUT I love my Barnhart, my Sugar Tree, and now I have an awesome bacote sneaky made by Blue Grass cues I really like and get to try out today
