Have these ever been used in a cue? I've not seen it before

Yes the material could be used in a cue. I have never seen it either, however, I think it would look real nice.
The hard part would be cutting the material for inlays, but I suppose someone with a CNC or similar device could do.
I do not know how it would stand up if it were used for rings though, but it would be great if it worked.
