FYI - POV (Myself), is only promoting the opening of this radio show which is not on my site. It can be or WILL be heard on http://www.americanbilliardradio.com

They are currently working on some technical issues. Please stay on the site until the show begins. I am truly sorry, but I am not on site to help them technically.

sorry POV...didn't mean to implicate you! It's is a shame that pool, in most EVERY aspect, falls short of acceptability. NO co-operation, NO pride, NO money, NO reason to even try. EVERYBODY wants their nickel, but those nickel could be quarters if every would work TOGETHER, instead of failing apart. Lessons not learned are destined to be repeated! I have only seen ONE commercial for a pool room on TV in my entire life. Pool doesn't give anyone a reason to play...just open the doors and say here we are, come if you want to...THERE is a "winning" business plan. I guess I need to take up another sport (like everybody else) that cares about the people that participate in it. IT isn't the economy...people will spend money on recreation, while skipping meals...they just need a reason. Pool rooms closing all over the country...WHY...because the people with the money have NO idea how to generate interest in pool. Of course, I can't practice what I preach, because I have no capital...but someone with some money a just a SMALL amount of pool business sense could make a MINT!!! Like they said in other threads here...pool is available for the taking, for a minimal amount. If I win the lottery, (yeah, right), I will change pool forever, for the better! Wish me luck!!!
