If you want to learn how to AIM using the ghost ball method, this game is the ticket. I picked it up yesterday at Circuit City for $14 and couldn't stop playing.
One of the methods offered is using a transparent ghost ball - i.e. you can see through the cue ball and see the object ball at the same time when down low, and from a more upright position you can aim the way you SHOULD BE AIMING. The pictures of this shown in many pool books comes to life as the ghost ball overlaps the object ball.
Google it to find out how you can order:
Try to run the table with this stunning 3D billiards simulation. The highly-realistic physics gives you true-to-life ball behavior. You can use all the strategy of real billiards, including English. Play by yourself, with a friend or against the computer.
? Easy to play, simply point and click
? Play a friend, the computer, or practice
? 3 skill levels
? 3 help modes
? Undo your last shot
? Save and load games
? 4 billiard rooms
? 7 unique ball sets
? 10 traditional and original table designs
Windows Vista/XP/2000/ME/98
$24.99
The game is really not very good but using the ghost ball I believe will keep my eye tuned up.
