American Contingent for WPC Qualifications

I know 2 who tried to enter last year-No go.

I had heard, that they had since changed this or read it here on Az but I know first hand that 2 did play in Bristol....

That opens another can of worms, if a women was able to technically qualify, such as winning a Eurotour event, should she be allowed to play??

Good point. The womens Euro Tour got scrapped a while ago I believe and the girls now play in the mens event, a WPA and EPBF sanctioned event. The WPC states that any person that makes a Euro Tour final gets a spot at the world championships. It's unlikely a girl could achieve this given the Euro Tour standard but not impossible for Jasmin maybe?

This is very interesting indeed, although it is highly unlikely a women would win a Euro Tour event it certainly isn't impossible. If this was to happen the female player would have to be allowed to compete or else the WPC qualifying criteria might as well be chucked right out the window.

What are the category numbers for? Are they the group number they are to play in for the round robin portion? or is it a category classification for how they qualified to be there?
