I just read that Charlie Bryant and Shawn Putnam no showed at the world event and for that the BCA is going to ban them from all world events for two years since they weren't notified the players would not be attending.
IN MY OPINION and just my OPINION the BCA has great big brass *&^^ to ban anyone from tournaments. They don't provide realistic support for players in D Hatch but why in the world would the "governing body of pool" have a popularity contest to represent the US in any event. I think Dennis will play well and proudly represent the US I just think if you going to have a point system FOLLOW IT. Thanks

Your post is a little difficult to understand. It seems that you're under the impression that the BCA held the popularity contest for the last player to get a spot on the Mosconi Cup team for the US, is this correct? The BCA had nothing to do with that. Matchroom sports puts on the Mosconi Cup every yr and the criteria for picking players is solely at Matchrooms discretion.

I believe that I was able to get the overall gist of your post. You're not happy with the complete hands off approach the BCA has with pro pool and I will most certainly agree with you.
