I have a 9ft. AMF Grand Prix(GC copy) that I am moving into a basement. The basement has pleanty of room, but getting it down there has been the challenge. I have been able to get everything into the basement except the actual frame the slate sits on. I see there are screws to take it apart, and I have loosened some of them. It doesn't seem to want to come apart... is this just because of age(45yrs) of the table or is it glued together? I don't want to start prying on this thing if it isn't meant to come apart... HELP!!! Any answers out there......???:welcome:

Thanks
Bruce

The frame shouldn't be glued together. The sides should be bolted into the ends of the frame. Most of the ones I worked on were about 15 years old or newer, but from my understanding, the design didn't change that much. Do you have any pictures?
