AMF table issues

nine o nine

Our senior center has an AMF 9' table. I don't know what model it is as there's no label I can find. The base has inverted "V" shaped supports from the short rails towards the center. A Grand Prix maybe?
It plays poorly...dead rails with hops. I don't think the cushions are original but I'd like to know what the correct replacments would be. I think in the past some hack put on the wrong types. When wrapping my fingers over the rails I can feel that the lower rubber edge has about 1/2"space to the slate...they're not as deep as the facing.
Any info on this would be appreciated as the cloth needs to be replaced soon
and this is the time for new rubber. Thanks, Mitch

AMF issues

Just had the same problem with my Grand Prix. The original cushions were Raybestos which are no longer available. Use K66 as replacements. Someone put K55s on the table I bought and the table played dead. replaced them with K66 and the table came alive!!!
