The owner emailed this to me. The official Opening Party has not been announced.

I will keep everyone posted if there are any changes.

OMG! There are no memories left of the old Corner Billiards. But, it does look nice. I'm glad they got rid of that ceiling with the exposed insulation.

I wish the place much success. :)

Hopefully they squeeze in a few more tables. I don't mind having less breathing room if it means for bigger and better tournaments.

That's a complex space. I mean, those columns can't move which means your layout options are limited.

Hopefully, Amsterdam will continue their pursuit of another location (which has been the plan) and open a larger location elsewhere in the city.

Move Back?

It almost makes me want to move back to New York... almost I said.

I thinkk adding more table to the mix would be difficult. Like Jude said, the columns in the middle of the floor are an unfortunate necessity. Without them, the 15 or so floors above would collapse on top of you mid-set.

And they're of such a size that they can be an obstruction, not so much to the game, but just enough to prevent the adding of more tables.

If you look in the latest Esquire magazine there is a cover pictorial/article about some hot ass blonde girl. In it there are a few small pictures taken at Corner Billards:)
