Corner Billiards NYC - World Champs Qualifier!

Hi,
Does anyone know anything about this even? specifically, is it definately on, whats the format / prize money?

I have posted on a uk site and emailed pro9 without success?

Can anyone shed any light on this, looking forward to playing in it if it's on?

Just to let anyone else know who might have been thinking of going to this:

1) I have emailed pro9 in the UK for details and I didn't get any response
2) I have listed threads on both this site and pro9 without any resposne
3) I have called Amsterdam billiards direct and they know nothing of this event.

I'm curious why it is listed on the World Championship Qualifier entry forms if nobody knows anything about the event?

I hope I'm wrong is I have made travel plans around this event as I was looking forward to playing in NYC for a weekend - oh well :-(

May 22+23 House of Billiards Weert The Netherlands International Qualifier (i am the roomowner)

27-30 May Nigeria African Qualifier

11-13 June Corner Billiards New York International Qualifier

18-20 June Victoria London International Qualifier

2-9 July Taipei Qualifiers

I contacted Luke Riches from Matchroom to put more info on the Matchroom Website or the Worldpoolchampionship website.

He told me would work on it.

Saturday & Sunday 12th and 13th June 2004

Entry Fee $200 until 6th June
After this date – $250

Tournament Format to be finalised at closing date.
You will play at least two matches

The winner will receive Return Air Ticket to Taiwan Chinese Taipei), Hotel Accommodation, Entry into Last 128 of The World 9 Ball Pool Championship. Total value – $4000

You can enter by sending an Email to pro9wc2k4@yahoo.com You will be Emailed back an Entry Form which must be completed and returned by Midnight on Sunday 6th June 2004 to guarantee a place in the draw and qualify for the lower entry fee.

The Small Print – The winner will receive a Standard Return Air Ticket from their nearest airport to Taiwan (via London) leaving London on 7th July and returning on the 19th July. Hotel accommodation is from 8th to 18th July (11 Nights)
