A fun tournament to come to Holland and to compete against world class players! (sorry for translation errors)
De biggest pooltournament in Holland will be held in Club-8 Amsterdam.
The 26th and 27th of November Amsterdam will be poolcapital of Europe.
The 25th the Amsterdam Dopen will be held.
Amsterdam Open
With a 6400 euro prizepot the Amsterdam open will be the biggest tourney of Holland. 64 poolplayers will determine who will be among previous winners like Nick van den Berg, Oliver Ortmann, Andreas Roschkowski, Fabio Petroni and others. Club-8 will be the host of this 20 year old tourney.
Etienne Verheem, owner of Club 8, is delighted with the return of the spectacle. Pool is one of the biggest indoor sports and Holland happens to deliver some of the top pro players. Because of that we should also host a tournament of international allure where Amsterdam people can see world class players compete. Club-8 is suited for the tournament because it has multiple proleague teams, which include Nick van den Berg.
The 64 players will consist of 32 world classplayers who are qualified directly and they are complemented by 32 players who qualify on november the 26th. Those who think those last 32 are lesser players will be wrong: they consist of players who play in the highest league of the Netherlands.
Verheem: "The Amsterdam Open in the middle of qualifications for the Dutch National Championships and the Mosconicup. Therefore players from all levels want to show the best of their game"
The game that is being played is 8-ball.
Games start on saturday the 26th of November at 9:30am. The final is expected to be held on sunday the 27th of November at approx 7:00pm

Club-8 Amsterdam will be dopecapital of the world on November the 25th!
For the fourth time Club-8 will also host the infamous Amsterdam Dopen. It is the tourney for the softdrugs smoking poolplayer.
Pool became popular as a sport in the coffeshops and therefore Club-8 will be transformed to the biggest coffeeshop in the world for one day.
The focus of tournament will be on relaxation and cosiness. The entryfee is 25 euros and players get a suprise packet. Players start in a pool with 8 players in a race to 3. After the poulephase a singleknockout will be played in which the toppoule players play against the last of poule players. Races in single knockout are to 6. Prizepot for the dopen tournament contains 1700 euros when 64 players participate.
