An AI classic poster recreation

A gentleman in one of the Joss Cues groups on Facebook inquired about a vintage Joss poster he was interested in selling. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make a deal for the original (I still want one if anyone has one). Then I realized, there is more than one way to skin a cat. I didn't NEED the original. I just love the poster and wanted the image to hang in my home pool room. I’ve seen the ChatGPT rage lately, so I downloaded the free version of the APP on my phone. I uploaded a clipped image from the gent’s ad and asked ChatGPT just to make it full color and more modern/dynamic. I think ChatGPT did a cool job on the first try, giving me two equally dynamic versions.

For $32 I had CVS print me up a poster sized copy. This will do but I still want the original someday.

Damn, that looks good. I think it would take someone actually stopping and really studying the poster to think it was AI.

I've been very dismissive of AI ever since it became the rage, but I have goofed around with it lately and was pretty impressed with what it can do.

Yeah, it knocked this one out of the park. I tried several others that were iffy, haha...but his one hit a home run first try.
