Anyone ever heard of Chucky Waldron from Rochester, NY. He would have been in his 90s by now.
I never knew my father very well. I met him a few times and even played pool with him once or twice. From what I know now he might have been short stop speed. He died in the early 1980s. I think that he told me that he played often with Irving Crane in a pool hall in Lime Rock, NY. They were both from the same geographical area.
From the little I know, my Dad was a serious gambler and a good pool player. A few days ago I watched an Irving Crane Video and saw him play for the first time. I was amazed at how much he looks like my Dad, dapper, stylish, widow's peak and the same style of pool player.
So there may indeed be more to the story and I wonder if anyone has heard of him.
I know very little about my father as I was raised by my mother and the State of NY. Any info would be appreciated.
My Dad's name was Ellsworth T. Waldron but he was known as Chucky or Chuck by his friends.
