With the help of one talented AZ member, Cue Crazy, I was able to get my extensions made for my Schon LTD 642. Enclosed you will find some pictures of how Greg approached the project and the fine job he did. I pressed him really hard for time towards the end, needing these for two upcoming tournaments. Given a do-over perhaps some years from now, they could have come out darker in stain had I not pressed him for time, but they are a close match to my existing forearm of my Schon, and I would also probably want them smaller around, making them only slightly lighter perhaps but again that involves more time for turning them down.
This first post will show the mods he did to the butt of the cue itself, the second will show the actual extensions. We decided to use a titanium pin to lighten the load some, and it indeed did help.
Anyway, I am very proud of him and these extensions...and I think they will really help my game on those long corner to corner shots as well as other long shots for this short armed wheelchair player. I would appreciate comments and I give Greg full credit for a job well, well done. I am extremely pleased with the extensions Greg!
