The other "Charlie" -- Charlie Williams -- is genuinely annoying to watch. I probably don't have to explain his pre-shot routine to most of the readers here, but it goes something like a Don Henley song ("Dirty Laundry")...

Yes, I've seen Charlie Williams play this way and win against top guys. But I've also seen him play almost Salvas speed and win against top guys. I once asked Charlie about the enormous variation in the pace of his play, i.e., whether he did it to sort of "influence" the opponent. He just kind of smiled.
