Ferrules are non-ivory. I'm not sure what the material is but they do not attract chalk stains.

I understand that people sell cues all the time, often at a loss, but this cue would he hard to replace for $1100.00

If I hadn't just bought a custom from Dickie Neighbors, I would strongly consider buying this Gilbert. Heck, I thought it was a pretty good deal at Cornerstone for $615 more than you are asking. The market is really down right now, but someone is going to get a terrific deal on this one.
