I was listening into Andy's talk show last night , great chat & well worth a download.

The chat focused on who can beat Ronnie O'Sullivan on his current form .

Andy pressed the questions & asked the guest who he thought could beat O'Sullivan on his current form .

Who do you think Andy Goldstein was interviewing ?

It was a good interview to listen to as Stephen Hendry must've thought he'd be asked for his views on the Welsh Open etc.

Andy Goldstein very cleverly switched the conversation into asking Stephen Hendry if he had any thoughts about making a come back & of course Stephen tried to dodge the question.

"It can't be easy sitting back watching all your records being overtaken Stephen . Does it make you want to pick up your cue again ?" asked Andy.

Stephen Hendry had to admit that it was hard to see Ronnie O'Sullivan over take all his records & yes it did make him want to get his cue back out but the conditions would have to suit as he aint a fan of qualifying school & doesn't think world Champions should have to qualify for tournaments.

So Andy Goldstein said to Barry about the possibilities of a Stephen Hendry come back if the doors were opened just a little bit wider but Barry said there was no point in having rules and making exceptions to suit certain players . He said to Stephen Hendry at the time that he was too young to retire and that Steve Davis and Jimmy White were older than Stephen and they're still trying to qualify for events.

So the doors are open for a Stephen Hendry come back but he has to do qualifying school like all the other players and he may well have the game and the knowledge to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan but does he have the desire to do so.
