TD didn't ignore King Kong he checked and couldn't see any thing wrong.
 
rack your own means anything you goes, you never hear people complain when you gaffe rack yourself and dont make anything

Simple Andy Mercer primer. Race to six. Double elimination. Winner breaks. $200 entry fee. Played on four Diamond Small Smart Tables over three days. Limited to 64 entries.

Why is the break so important that a seasoned player like Bernardo Chavez would complain? Even a lower echelon player like myself who makes a ball on the break controls the rack. Whether a run out, push out or safe shot, the breaker still controls the table. Haven't played in a couple of years. Since Shane and Darren entered in 2010. A little too speedy for me.

In the years I played, the Rum Runner provided a racker / ref. They used the Sardo for a few years. Got lots of complaints. Used a Diamond rack in 2009 if I remember correctly. Still had players complaining. Giving a player of Shane's ability rack your own on a bar box is suicide for his opponent IMHO. I'd be complaining too.

All in all, the Mercer is a great event. All the top players from the West Coast (and a few invaders). After reading about the event at White Diamonds, I'd have to put the Mercer second. At least in the financial return area.
