Angle of the cuts on bumpers at the corner pocket mouths

The first picture shows the bevel square flush against the end rail and the return, that measures about 142 degrees. The second picture is the same bevel setting placed flush on the long rail of the same pocket, and that measures about 135 degrees. The gap at the opening is 3/16”. If I’m looking for easy pockets, then I’m good cause the opening measures 5 1/4” across. Still that 135 degrees is going change the deflection of the ball off that face. There is a concaving of the wood, I suppose from years of pool hall pounding but the angles should be the same.

Regarding my last post, the cushion angle matched the wood frame angle, so the bevel square does accurately reflect the construction of the mouth.
