Anniversary values

Our local Elks lodge has two 9' Brunswick Anniversary tables, likely from the 50s that they are looking to sell. They are in decent shape, but not restored. What's the appropriate range for an asking price for them? They also have an older Brunswick 10' snooker table, I expect that will be worth a fair amount less, just because the of the smaller market.

Incredibly the oversize 8 in my restoration thread lasted almost two days on FB for $1000. I suspect this is an outlier and rexus31 is correct since the ones you asked about are older tables (veneer not Formica?) and likely in better condition.

OK, I got into the old lodge earlier this week and took some pictures... Two tables and they seem very close to identical. I don't know where the SN is located on these, but I seem to remember it takes disassembly to find it.

No such thing as a serial number. These were kitted together when shipped, not manufactured as a unit. I'd estimate value in the current condition around $4K-$5K. If these were restored to like new condition, they'd be worth $10K-$15K.

I would say that your guestimate is quite high....
I can't see anyone paying $4-5K for one of these.. Look at the veneer (or lack thereof) on the pedestals...

It doesn't look like the components are completely beat up, but there is still quite a lot of work to be done. I would think that $2500-3000 is more appropriate. My estimate is only that high because they are early models, with all wood rails, in seemingly decent condition. Even so, the market for 9' tables is very low. It might take a while to find a taker for $2500, in the current condition.
