Annual Tour Fees

This is a great topic!

MJ- I have to agree with JAM on this one... if your "season tour players" are paying towards the Season Final Event with most of the money added to this event, they should be the ones to have a shot at it, not a "new" tour member that has paid an increased entry fee. That's not fair to those that have paid all season long.

Membership Fees... Zim's Rack APT charges a $20 annual membership fee. At month 6 (1/2 way thru season) we drop that to $10. Half the season, half the membership. When an out of the area player shows up, we only charge them a $10 membership, if they return for a 2nd event, then they pay the additional $10 to have full membership.

We are an AMATEURS ONLY tour, no BCA Masters and above level are allowed to participate. We are in the process of going national with our tour and run tours in various regions and come together for a Final Tour Championship. Do a search for Zim's Rack APT here on the forum for more posts and details, visit our website, www.zimsrack.com or contact me.

We are currently looking for other regions to participate and host tours under our system. If interested, contact me directly!

Thanks,
Zim

Most tours offer a discount (the Viking Tour does) for playing in just 1 event. Ut's usually either 1/3 - 1/2 of the normal price. You usually pay the difference or the full amount if you play again.
Is this something new? When I PM'ed you about a year you didn't have this available.

Ok, just checked out your site and did find where you give a $10 off on a $30 (1/3 off) tour card. I did not find where you give 1/2 off a tour card. I also found that Jr's, Women, Seniors over 65, and Military get a free tour card.

I do think its wonderful that you have gotten such high numbers for your tournaments. For me, even with a discount your tournaments are to expensive for me. I would have to pay $70 to play in a amatuer event that only $30 of that money goes towards the prize fund. I'm not sure of the rest of the players here, but once the entry fee gets $50+ I start looking at other tournaments first.
