Hicks, never ranked higher than 17th, contributed to in a piece of snooker history back in 1995.
At the Crucible, second round, Andy was playing Willie Thorne. Willie was down 2 - 6. and ahead by about 50 points. The frame was re-racked, by the referee.
He was also in a match against Quintan Hann that resulted in Hann fighting Mark King,
