What if one side of the table and a center side pocket.

And the other side had a pocket a quarter length from the corner?

This way more carom style play can be incorporated to the match.

the other advantage is

when you throw away your old pool tables

mountain children can recover and set up their tables.

Itd mean the table comes in more pieces and that is easier to carry into the mountains.
