the sellers feedback rating is perfect. maybe that's bull also, BUT,,,,,is it possible that the cue is on CONSIGNMENT to abbott, and it is in fact the owner who is ebaying?

only reason i mention this is because i would think dealers are not buying cues outright these days, and are selling on consignment more.

He's bought computer stuff for the most part.
I don't know how he has two of the cues.

I looked at the feedback too. Cheap items purchased in a short timespan...

I also noticed that one item he (she?!) bought said ships to US only. Thought he was in the UK!?

Uh oh, better use escrow!!

i think you guyz are right. the cue on abbott's site is going for $3000.

an owner would not undercut his own cue to $1000.

The auction also states that there are two cues available.

You all know how the old saying goes, if it looks to good to be true.......

This guy isn't a savvy scammer like the one that tried to get me, he is a low life picturee copying scammer. This type of scamming doesn't really require a high IQ. It would be fun to scam the scammer by agreeing to buy both the cues, having him close his auction, then failing to pay. OOPS!

Regarding the Cashiers check scam I was involved in, there are people who seek out these scammers by pacing ads on autotrader.com and like websites, then when they get a scammer on the hoook, they have them send one counterfiet check after another, which costs these scammers a considerable amount of money.

One small way to get back at the low life bastards of society.
