Picked this up the other day (same week i found the 1 piece ebony titlist), bad pictures and an unknowing seller put this one in my price range. Huebler Custom Shop. but for some reason its not stamped on the bottum. however it is obvious. The Ivory joint is cracked. repairs in the future.

Very cool! Not sure why, but I've always like Huebler cues. Seem to be far better playing cues than they get credit for! Enjoy it buddy!
 
I have never seen another cue maker use a nylon threaded insert in their shafts. I know it works well because one of the best bar box players i've ever seen play used a plain cocobolo Heubler cue and his cue was the first one i'd ever seen with that insert in his shaft. He ran more racks with that cue than anyone i'd ever played against.

helmstetter used a nylon insert in the original julio stambolini line, as well as a group of brunswicks he produced ca 1983

does anyone else see the irony here?

I should get a loto ticket!

Sweet! The huebler cues play great! My young son owns one that a AZer give to him, I play with it from time to time and keep the cue safe, I must say those cues are very unique and hit a ton! I know of a few owners of hueblers and they won't sell or trade for nothing.
