Another misrepresented Hoppe cue on ebay

This cue is from the early 1960's, not the '40s as claimed by the seller. I mentioned this to him and took a tongue-lashing about how he had been in the billiards industry for 44 years and had never heard of me - wants my credentials.
I suppose you could spend 44 years sitting in a cave with a pool cue and claim to be a biliards expert, but this fellow is not. Normally I blow this stuff off, but I would sincerely like to meet him - based on the correspondence I received from him I'm sure he must have an extra eye in the middle of his forehead. Anyone know him? If so, I apologize if he is likeable, but just simple.

Maybe he should have taken the $1,000.00 that it was appraised at. Heck, i have 2 more he can buy for that price...................mike

Yeah, I don't think this kind of ad fools anyone - I sent him a note thinking that with his zero feedback and wild claims, he probably could use some input. I was mistaken.
 
lol, the add says no noticeable dings but if you look at the picture showing the forearm, it looks like a ding above the willie signature.
