It's not really a new tour it just has a new name.

information was gathered from a FaceBook Page

"This new tour is sponsored by www.maximbilliards.com
Maxim Billiards is a partner in the tour and 100% of all advertising revenues - expenses from the site will go towards added monies to the events while reducing the costs of hosting events to the locations and participating players.

The new Maxim Billiards Classic Tour has a lineage dating back to the early 90's. It was introduced as the Ohio State 9-Ball Tour then became the Huebler Cues 9-Ball Tour and in 1995 until 2010 it was the Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour then temporarily known in late 2010 as the Ozone Billiards Tour.

All participating players that hold current tour cards for either the Ozone Tour or the Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour in any of the divisions will automatically be upgraded to having a tour card on the new Maxim Billiards Classic Tour.

For our sponsors, all companies wishing to support our sport through advertising or event sponsorship will get Banner Ads on Maxim Billiards.com and it's sister site www.tournamentguidemag.com along with branding at all events and event adv...ertisements.

For our players, all participating players will enjoy lower entry fees, registration fees and table time fees at all of the Maxim Billiards Classic Tour events. The reduction in costs to the players will be 1/3rd of the standard entry fee and 50% off table time and registration fees all while enjoying the same high quality standards of tournament direction along with guaranteed monies to the events.

For our hosting locations, all locations will see a decrease in fees based on guaranteed added monies to the event and distance to the host location from the tours home office along with discounts for multiple events.
