Another stupid question...

What does the following mean?

"Anyone in the room can have the 8!" or "I`ll give you the 8 for $1000"

In a rotation game, the 8 ball would be his opponent's money/game ball.

Suggestion

If you gotta ask then I reccomend you stay away from the person making this statement in the poolroom. Hope this helps.

in 9-ball you can make the 8 or 9 on the break/combo to win or simply run out to the 8.

Thanks for the replies. I've never heard some one say it... just read it on the forum. Just want to know what it means incase I ever do hear it
