I've got a 1 of 1 Shawn Putnam Player J/B cue available here :

This cue is a 59" cue, signed and dated back in 2004. This is really an unusual cue.....the forearm and butt of the cue are a gorgeous quilted maple and there are butterfly splices of cross cut Lacewood in the forearm and the butt.

Also, this cue has traditional cocobolo points in the butt between the butterflys. The wrap section is made of Bubinga with matching ringwork at A, B, C, D and E that really accentuate all the other woods in the cue. The overall length is approx. 59",

The butt weighs 16 oz, the shaft weighs 3.8 oz, both joints are 3/8x10, balance is approx. 18.5" from the buttend. The ferrule appears to be LBM with a 12.75mm SuperPro tip.

This is an extremely nice and rare cue in 90+% played condition.....SOLD

That IS a nice jump/break cue. Personally (and no offense intended), I'm not a fan of butterfly points, nor lighter-colored wood (just my preferences), but this is actually done well. I've been considering getting a better jump/break cue...and this is up there along the lines of something I'd consider. Alas, I have a few other cue deals in the works, so it'll have to stay on the back-burner, unless there's a DRASTIC discount (and no, I don't expect one to happen, and even if it did, I'd probably be the last to know about it and it'd be gone by then!) :o

Lol....

.....well Dave, I do find most of my cues here on AZ Street

This particular cue is an Excellent playing cue too! ;)

I actually built this cue as my personal break cue til someone offered me alot of money that I couldn't turn down !
This cue was the first J/B that I ever built so it should be a collectors item when I die ! LOL
Good luck with the sale !
P.S. You couldn't buy that cue from me now a days for less than $1,100
