For the past twelve years, Rochester had been fortunate to have a restaurant, bar and pool room named Six Pockets. Their contribution to our pool scene was ten Valley bar boxes. APA, BCAPL and In House leagues and tournaments. Great Fish Fry. Cold, cold beer. A real "pro shop" run by Triton Cues. The owner decided on Wednesday to close. Sent an e-mail out to those of us on their mailing list. Had a goodby party last night. Closed their doors forever at 2 AM this morning.
Thankfully, we also have Camelot Billiards. Six Pockets loss is Camelot's gain. They also have ten Valleys as well as a variety of Diamond and Brunswick full size tables. Just one room left after all these years. Just so sad. Did you read inside_english's thread about cheapskates? Wonder how "they" affected business. Guess we might never know.
