For collectors of banking systems: here's another version of the Criss Cross banking system that some may find easier. Jack Koehler describes it in Upscale One Pocket - I'm surprised that I've never heard about it anywhere else.
In case it matters, I don't use these systems, but I think that's a matter of preference. Their accuracy and usefulness depends on the ability to visually estimate distances and sightlines on the table, so it can vary widely from person to person. I do use a "system" to check the equal angle bank line, but it consists simply of using the diamonds to measure the 2:1 equal angle ratio of distances along the rails.
