I see what you mean now, I no longer really worry about it where I'm concerned. I either win or I lose. I don't like to lose either, but it's not the big deal it was when I started playing and for a long time after.
 
The only time I know for sure a guy tried to shark me, I didn't even see it and had to be told about it afterwards. Apparently my opponent was flipping an ashtray around and managed to drop it on the floor just before I pocketed the 9 for the match win. He was even in my LOS but I was too focused to notice.
 
what level of pool r we talking about? If your not aware of sharking around you, and don't have the ability or foresight to prevent it, then it's your fault. Same concept when one whines about bad rolls. there's no such thing(unless it's table rolls or bad equip) , the balls are a physiological result of how YOU hit it. losers complain, winner's adjust
