Antique Brunswick Table

Ledstone

Ledstone
Hello everyone, I have an antique Brunswick table. I looked it up on the Brunswick website and it is the "Victor" model. From what I see, it was made between 1905-1915 and is a very basic style model. It is a work in progress, but I'm not too far from being finished with it. It is missing the sights (which are diamond shaped) and I'm not sure what type would've been original. Did they all come with ivory sights back then? I was wondering if anyone else has heard of or has any other information about this table.

Heya Ledstone,

I restored a 1906 Brunswick Wellington and got most of my pieces from classicbilliards.net. The ivory diamonds should not be a problem for him. Just measure yours out and I'll bet you will find a match on the site. Good luck!

Thanks Roy. I've ordered parts from Muellers before, but never this guy. Getting ready to call him and see what I can find out. I appreciate the advice.

By the way, here's picture of my table.

Unfortunately the first things that get pirated from old antiques are the nameplates, the ivory sights, and the rail bolt caps, and sometimes even the pocket irons.

Yes, the diamonds would have been ivory.
And for what its worth, your bolt covers are not original either.

Which bolt caps would it have had? This is an older picture. Since then, I have installed the brass nameplate and pocket fringe.

Yeah I figured it was an older picture since the writing on the board says Happy New Year LOL

The "rosettes" that your table had would have been the SW1B or BBC1B as seen on this page:

Not that you absolutely need them, the table will be fine without the originals.
