Antique cues wanted for museum display

Mark Stellinga

CUES-PRE-1900
As my wife and I gradually build a top quality billiard cue museum display in our home, we are looking for both American and European made cues from around 1900 on back. Note: Unfortunately, we can not afford to branch out into the huge field of early cues with badges on their butts (primarily English).
Yesterday I stumbled onto an OLD post for a marquetry cue asking for info on it. The ad said it would be offered on ebay. I missed it if it was. Perhaps it didn't sell?? Hoping it's still available, and looking hard for similar examples. Connie and I wrote the book "Pool & Billiard Collectibles." Couldn't keep everything so we elected to focus on only very early cues, to depict their evolution. The collection is getting spectacular.
We have all the BBC carved and butterfly models and then some. We're now hunting for out-of-the-ordinary, trophy quality cues and particularly marquetry examples. Any ancient cues or good leads today guys and gals??? Pre-1900 only...
Here's a couple shots of the 1880s display case we've resto-modified. This means we can now sell about 25 of the nicest and rarest pre-1900 cue racks ever produced.

Thanks in advance,
Mark & Connie Stellinga
