Hey Everyone,

I am fairly new to AZ but started looking around to find info that will help me to restore my antique Brunswick table. I am now on here everyday looking around and posting so I guess I am hooked.

I have done a post over in the Talk to a Mechanic forum here on AZ: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=87941 where I am going to document the work I am doing on an antique table to improve the playability. I hope that anyone interested would find this to be informative. Mired in the details I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. I really want this to come out right and have put a lot of effort into research and finding the correct way to do these repairs. Comments and words of encouragement would be helpful to give me the motivation to get this done.

Get off your butt and get that table done!

You should have alot of fun with your project, and I am fairly sure that continued posts in the Mechanics area will continue to get you some odds and ends of info. Although you should have plenty to run with already.

I hope to get started on my 12 foot Regina soon, although it will probably just get put off for a while since I am in the process of moving into another place.
Unless I just sell it....lol
Have fun, you will learn alot about your table and have something to brag about when you finish!
There is collectively, what probably amounts to, the greatest amount of billiards knowledge in history on this site, even with all the dingbats that show up. Keep asking questions, you are not the only one that may want to know.

Thanks Cuephoric, I hope to be working on my rails if I can find time this weekend and will post more pics then.

I enjoy many aspects of the forum. One that gives me great pleasure is when someone takes the time to share a undertaking that they have begun. Taking us along for the ride during the process makes (for me) a great read.
I am envious as well. In the end you have something that will bring you enjoyment on so many different levels.
