any advice will be helpful

i have a cash game set up against one of the better shooters in town

tonight, and i was wondering if any one had any advice on how i should

approach this and stay focused and not worry about who im playing even

if it is one of the top guys in town...and

what kind of spot should i ask for? cuz i would have no chance to beat him

As with any negotiation, always ask for more than you want.

If you get it, great.

If you settle for what you really expected, great.
 
Play even,,you win either way. Or even offer him up a spot at first,,a little head game. You will play better if you do this. The head game thing again.
If you don't think you can beat him even up,,stay home,,the spot won't help unless its enormous.
