CTE is an aiming system Seether, it stands for Centre to Edge. It involves waiving your cue around like a magic wand until it supposedly lines up with some sort of magic lay line on the table and gives you a starting point to aim.
It's like using a magic ball as a GPS in your car.

most likely no(thank god), due to the long influence snooker has had in Canada's pool history. ghost ball, fraction aiming is probably the most predominant form of aiming system. if it works on a 12 foot table with small pockets, there probably isn't much of a need to change anything:thumbup:
I aimed the way you described for over 20 years too ! Nothing wrong with the way you aim , I just find it easier to use cte for reverse cut and banking in particular. Put me on your list for your DVDI look where to hit the ball to make it, then hit that spot with cue ball. Been working for 21 years of playing so far! Yes it also works on a 6X12 with tight pockets.... maybe I'll make a DVD!
What is CTE? and how do you use it?
I use cte/Pro-one or 90/90 on almost every shot. I have Stan`s dvd and practiced all the shots for an hour daily during a 3 weeks period to get used to the system. It works pretty well for me.
