I have one and like it a lot.
It is my main player right now but I'm using a Jacoby Hybrid Edge Shaft with a Tiger Jump Break Tip.
The D3 shafts that come with it are also very good but I need to change the tips.
I'm not a high end player and never had one of the newer high end cues.
I have one. Excellent cue, but I'm a Predator guy. The D3 in many ways just feels better than the Predator shafts, but for me when it comes right down to it I do prefer the Predator. However, the Dominick is an American made cue if that sort of thing is important to you. You really couldn't go wrong with the Dominick and his customer service even after the purchase is excellent as well.
