I will be there for a few days and If I have time to shoot some I don't want to get killed. Is there a room near City Hall or that area that's nice? I'll be staying across the street form there and have no car so something close by would be nice.

thanks
Bill

I'm a counterman at a place close by just outside Philly but you'd need a car to get there.

PII when you gonna be in philly?
we never got to shoot when i was Venice.
I might be able to make a mini road trip into philly and head out to shoot some with ya. Theres not much in center city, buffalo billiards has some 8 ftrs but its mostly nightclub. drexleline isnt too too far and is a nice room to play.

Drexeline billiard club

Hey Pii,
I work there on Thursday nites, but stop up any time !
It's a old school room with lots of player friendly specials in the
daytime too. 8:30-12:00 for five bucks and 12:00 to 5:00 for eight.

We have 16 9' GC IV, 2 8' GC IV and two billiard tables that are quite
busy day and night.

You would have to grab a cab to get out there but it's not that far,
to assure your saftey. Philly can be a little rough at night if you don't
know your way around.

I'am there on Wednesday nite playing in a BCA 8ball leauge we're trying
to grow, and Sunday mornings. Services start around 10:30 till 3:00:rolleyes:

The address is: 5100 State rd.
Drexel Hill,Pa.19026
At the corner of Township Line (Rt.1)& State Rd.
around the rear of the shopping center
610-259-9144
9ball handicap tourney Teus. at 7:00 $5.00 to get in
last Thurs. of the month scratch tourney $10.00 single elim.

Maybe I'll see you there?

Doc

I'll be there Sunday night and leave Tuesday night. Not sure if I'll even have time to shoot but just in I thought I see if there was someplace nice near by. I went to Buffalo Billiards last year when I was there and it had 9 ft tables but was more of a bar than a place to do some serious shooting. From the looks of it that will be where I go gain if I get out.

If you get back down this way we can try to hook up again.

I live in the Philly suburbs and work in the University City area of Philly . When I started working in the city, I was excited about the prospect of finding a few nice pool rooms. I expected at least one players' room with some history. Unfortunately, there's pretty much nothing. Drexeline is your best bet.
