I'm more or less recovered from my surgeries, back playing regularly. I'm at the point where I feel like I've hit a plateau. I'm looking to get some instruction to take my game further. I'm primarily interested in 8/9 ball. I've contacted a few players/coaches that friends have recommended. Of the 2 that responded, it seems they don't actually schedule lessons and just provide them when convenient for them. Any recommendations would be great. For info, I'm currently an Intermediate player(6 in CPA, if that means anything) and started playing again in February '25 after 15years away from the game. Thanks

Check out https://www.poollab.pro/
Their space is in Etobicoke and they have a few instructors on staff. I believe their online booking form is being redone but you can email them and I’m sure they’ll be able to schedule something for you
Hope this helps

find some weekly tournaments in the area - there is usually a few strong players who can probably work something out with you in terms of instruction.

Ended up getting a lesson from Erik. He was great. I'll be getting more after the holidays. Thanks!

Practice isnt going to help much if you can't figure out what you're doing wrong.
Yes and no. I say get a tripod have it setup behind you. Then left. Then right then in front. Do 30 shots. It’ll give you an ideal of what you do wrong. Then basically get the basic foundation. Erik is great if you can afford it.
