Any help Identifying this cue?

Hello everyone, recently purchased this cue and am having trouble identifying the builder. It has a 5/16x18 pin, six points with floating inlays (not entirely sure of the material), and no markings of a signature or anything else to help ID who made it. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated, and if more/better pictures would help I can do that as well. Thanks, Joe

Not sure.

18 pin eh?

And the finish is shrinking like crazy around the inlays. Makes their edges pop.

Same problem at the top of the butt cap.

Thinking maybe Import. Philippines? Could very well be wrong.

I think the PI cues often use a non-standard 18 pin with slightly larger diameter threads. If non-PI 18 pin shafts won't screw on it that's a sign it might be a PI cue I think.

Maybe somebody else can say something more accurate.

Just curious but how do you have only one post since signing up in 2013 yet have an iTrader of 8? Just seems odd.

Hello. I have told this to several other owners of this cue that you need to send pictures to inquire with Jerry Rauenzahn if he made the cue. If not, then Iike chopdoc said, possible Phillipian knockoff.

Thanks!!

First off, I would like to thank you guys for taking the time to share your input here! Really appreciate it! Pretty neat to see some knowledgeable people chime into this thread.

In regards to the cue.. I have contacted Jerry Rauenzahn via email and he has confirmed that this cue was not made by him. In around October of last year I saw this cue being sold on Ebay by an electronics company who happen to stumble upon it in an estate sale, along with several other cues. It got away and popped back up just recently by who I assume won the auction (the seller of the cue said he was down at the Derby and had Joe Blackburn, Steve Lomax, and a few other people positively ID the cue as a Jerry R as well) so I worked out a deal with him. I'm very pleased with both the look and the hit of the cue so it's not a big deal about who made it, just trying to satisfy my curiosity. It seems there has been quite a lot of work put into the cue, would be nice to know who is responsible.

Oh, and about my low post count.. I've found that every question I've ever had, has been previously answered in great deal along with additional information I didn't even want to know haha; by some of the very people in this thread no less!

From all these suggestions here, I'm thinking Jerry has a fan overseas he doesn't know about :D

That's it!

You use the search feature!:thumbup::thumbup:

You ask questions.

And you don't like your answers.
Why keep asking?
How about this.
Know what you are looking at before you pay.
Or that.
You ask for answer. But the value of the peoples answer if correct are not worth the words on your screen.

Good luck,
Nick :)

Look at the trader information. He buys stuff once in a while and does not post. Nothing wrong with that. There are a lot of people on here that do that.

I never said or implied there was something wrong with it. Just noticed it. Nothing more.
