Any ideas what his David Jacoby would be worth

WildWestBilliar

Wild West Billiards
I did not see it in the blue book.
I was told it is double Full Splice resulting in 12 points
Also 24 Inlays
It solid birdseye maple

Any idea to value it was signed and dated 3/06

I would call and ask about the "double full spliced" I have the exact same cue and I dont think it is full spliced. Could be wrong. Just didnt think it was. I think retail was $495 if I remember correctly.

I was told they do some double full splices however I was told this may be all inlaid. I got this from cue builder Robby Tims he said he got it directly from David Jacoby New in a Vegas Tourney and said he was told its a full spliced model. In the middle section I cannor see any seems it looks like one piece however that may not mean anything.

Is it possible to make a full splice cue with more than 4 points? I would think that would be incredibly difficult.

It can be done but it ain't cheap. Mark Bear made a badass one, it's on his website. I'm pretty sure the Jacobys are inlaid.

Andy, I looked at his site. Is this the cue you were talking about? I couldn't find anything else that seemed comparable. This would be the same style as the Jacoby. Four points on each end though, instead of many. In my post I actually meant is it possible to do more than four points "on one end." So, for the cue style below, is it possible to do more than eight points?:)

I called Jacoby they said they have done dual full splices but would have to see the cue to verify it I am emailing them images. He said alot were inlaid. However I cannot find any of the same cue on his site nor Blue Book
