Hey Guys

I have a custom cue stick with a brass radial pin and I can't help notice that it's a struggle to tighten the shafts all the way down to the bottom of the pin and sometimes it's an even bigger struggle getting the shaft to turn to unlock it again.

And so I wanted to know if you guys can post up any tips on how to loosen the joint threads a little to make the shafts a little more easier to lock/unlock again?

Thank you very much in advance, any help/info is greatly appreciated

tight joint

People have used anything slippery in the past. DON"T use oils though. Candle wax rubbed on the screw or beeswax are a couple favorites. Apply several times if necessary. Make sure to get it to the bottom of the screw hole. Some people even use hard bath soap rubbed on the screw. One of these will probably help.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it alot :)

I have a jar of soft bees wax that I got for burnishing the shafts after cleaning them and that seems to do the trick very well and so, I'll know to use a smidge of it when needed :)

Thank you once again guys and some rep points will be coming your way
