Any information on Delta cues?

Apparently you can get one on of these (cue case included) for 30-40$. I tried searching about them but I couldn't find much. What's their actual quality? Do they play well? How would they compete against, let's say, Players? Sounds a little too good to be true IMO.

I had a Delta cue. It looked very good, white, clear shaft wood. It played bad because if the shaft taper and the tip. I was going to change the taper and tip, but I sold it. Hope this helps.

Imagine a cue which costs about $12 USD to produce, and that's about what you'll have.

Without actually knowing what the brand is, by the price, quality will be BAD.

If you want something cheap, get a McDermott Lucky brand one.

Will they play better or worse than house cues? I know there are people who are familiar with this brand, but they never posted much info.

These cues are good for beginners as well as professionals. With low price, you will get a better product.

I've seen tournaments where efren Reyes was using a 15 dollar cue, so these deltas are definently pro quality....shoot can't find the sarcasm font

Word on the street is they are second in quality and hit only to Balabuskas...

Over the last three years, I've bought several cues from Dennis Cheng on Ebay for beginning pool playing friends and family. So far the cues have all worked fine for players at our level. Check out Dennis' feedback. Excellent service and lotsa happy people playing with his attractive and inexpensive cues. Playing with them sure beats playing with crooked, dirty, greasy house cues with butchered tips, plus you can always give one of these cues to another beginner if you feel the need to buy a different cue.

I called you a troll months ago and you sent me a PM.
I apologized and gave you solid information.
I told you to get a Lucky cue and be done with it.

Stop posting threads about random crap. It's been months since you PM'd me about the last thread and asked about cues. If you were serious about getting a cue for under $50 like you said, you would have bought one by now. $50 is not an investment. $50 will buy you a night at a crummy motel and a happy meal from McDonalds.

Those Delta cues are perfect for shooting the ram shot and unplanned random shots that you hit really hard.

Yeah, those are the cues I'm talking about. So they won't wear out or get damaged too soon? I'm perfectly fine with beginner stuff, but it needs to have enough quality to last for some time and remain in good condition if I take care of it.

I never said I'd be getting the cue right now. I'm just collecting information from as much sources as possible. I already considered McDermott Lucky, as well as Players cues, and I know where to get them, but I want to analyze the alternatives as well. Getting a Delta would avoid me some taxes etc., so I'd like to know the differences between all these brands. How is that trolling?

As long as your not going out and wacking weeds with it or jousting from shopping carts ANY cue is going hold up fine, I mean with ram shots I'm sure many will break tips off and start warping though. Cheap cues will be playable long after u don't want to play with them anymore

So whatever happened to that ambassador power cue eh? And if u decide such cue to buy based off of taxes....I'm not sure anyone here can help u. All that can be said, is set a budget, if you want a cheap cue, get a cheap cue and get exactly what you pay for. That's what my buddy did, 80 dollar action cue. He hates it now, looking to buy a nice one, after wasting money on one he won't see 15 bucks for now. Go somewhere u can test cues. Hit it with them, pick one. The holy grail of cheap cues went down with Atlantis. You will never find it

My friend uses the ambassador power. He's very happy with its performance and he's a better player than I am. So if a Delta would be just as good or better, I'd go for it right away. As I said, I need something a little better than house cues so I can keep it in good condition and practice with only one cue instead of changing them every time.

You should know by now, if you give him good information he won't use it.
