I'm just looking for new players to play and maybe some small action. I don't mind driving to Bullhead or sometimes down to Havasu...

I spent some time out in that area and never met another AZ'er. But pool is fairly active in those small towns - mostly bar league players from what I could tell. There is a pool room with full sized tables in Havasu (Mike's, I think). Last vist I made to Havasu, I hung out at KcKees. Laughlin has a bar with 4 well kept tables near Harrah's. Kingman has a pool hangout just off one of the main streets which also has 4 bar tables. Of course, I can't remember the name.

Don't expect big action in any of these places. Friendly action can be found though.

Thanks for the reply...I'll have to venture down to Bullhead/Laughlin and Havasu just to see what I can find I guess. Here in Kingman there isn't really any pool playing...The place you referred to as the player hang out with multiple tables I can only imagine is Timeout Tavern...They do have 4 or 5 tables but they are total crap and the owners dont seem to care to fix them up...been in there a few times and havent ever seen another pool player.

the place in Havasu is Mr Luckys

they have 8 or 10 nine ft olhausen tables, one diamond bar box and a couple other little tables. full bar.
they used to have a weekly 8 ball tourny for cheap $ bca rules no handicapp. Anyone can play.
There are a couple good players there but none better than Tyler, if I remember correctly, He is very good. Dan was even better but moved away someplace.
This is just about the only real pool hall in the area outside of vegas or phoenix.

The havasu bowling alley has a couple bar tables and a tournament sat. night I think. they might get 25 or so people on a good night. small entry fee.

The havasu senior ctr has 3 nine ft tables kept up pretty nice.
2 dollars a day. I think you need to be 55.

There is a place in bullhead called beer thirty, you may already have checked it out. 2 bar tables, leagues, I would think a money game from time to time. and beer.

good luck with your search. I know there is not much around besides bar pool.
I would recommend a phone call ahead of the drive down there. This info is a few yrs old.

ps I have seen pictures of someones garage pool room in havasu. It looked real nice but was never able to get a name. I think Frankincali put it up on this site maybe about ten years ago.

Driven, thanks for the reply. I went down to Mr. Lucky's the other night and it was dead...There was a couple playing on one of the 9 footers (looked like they were on a date) and there was one guy shooting on a valley bar box but I would of felt bad asking him for a game...It was a weeknight though so maybe I was just there on an off night or something. All in all it was a nice place I just need to figure out what nights the players hang out in there.
