Any old RSBers lurking out there?

I also snapped of the 04 Toronto GWN in my first and only attempt-capturing the most coveted Great White North 'Non-gender-specific Royalty of the Hill "imitation" gold plated trophy.

Gaze upon it and suffer awe.

Awe what...? You threatening us Fast Eddie...? :-)

If I recall correctly, Thierry Layani still has the trophy which is probably appropriate because he won it the most number of times.

Nice to hear you are still extant though...

That's me - Hi Fred! The RSB days seems like light years ago now, for some reason. I didn't post much then either, but when I did it was usually something really dumb. :)

I remember after I bought my 9' table and got it set up at home. I had played on bar boxes all my life up until then. It took weeks, months, for me to get used to the difference in stroke, speed, pocket width - I was very frustrated. I had been practicing 9ball and I think I may have posted something on RSB like "how come after the break I don't have any runnable racks?" Geez. :o

Well, now it's 9 years later, and I still don't have runnable racks after the break. :) But now I know its not that the run isn't there, it's just not there for ME!

Linda,
Nice to see you post again Linda.

Hal Houle is now considered a living legend in billiard circles and we have you to thank! :D

And so says she, the Iowa State BCA Ladies Champion.

Started in RSB in the late 90's. Stuck with it until FL ruined it. Have met lots of great people thru these forums

I lurked a lot and posted occasionally. I went to a couple of the tournaments in Toronto and was lucky enough to win one. I hang out at Ask The Cuemaker on AZ now.

I would like to know who's here that used to post/lurk regularly on RSB. I know some of the more frequent posters but there have to be some that don't post often also right?

Is everyone over at Jimbo's site?

Guilty as charged. I had the pleasure of having Alex beat me with my own cue for an RSB ladder challenge match a while back. I don't tend to have a computer with a regular Newsreader account setup anymore and I hate using web-based Newsreaders so don't tend to post there much anymore.

Whats RSB??????? I'm a AZ guy and onepocket.org guy-thats it I have no interest to go anywhere. But I am curious.

Lou, where you been hiding! You still have that sweet leather case and 3 piece cue you brought to Jimbo's Jambo all those years ago?

Oh, I'm here too.

Hey, Thomas. Not hiding, just tip toeing through the tulips and cow pies :-)

And yes, I still have the Sheldon/Chas combo and let them run amok on the road every once in a while.
