Are you replacing the whole set of cushions? You posted that you needed to "fix a couple cushions" cushions should be replaced in full sets, you can use several brands of contact cement, do NOT use rubber cement.
I've used DAP weldwood or barge before to adhere cushions when 3M products was not readily available, I've not used the non-flammable DAP but I'm curious how well it works because most contact cement has a nasty flammable oder.
