Any recommendation for a conversion?

Hello everyone

I have an old Hunt&Obryne snooker cue which has been with me for the past 15years. We have seen some glory days together. Unfortunately i recently took it out to clean and found that the front end of the cue near the tip has wrap.

I am thinking of converting it into a jump cue and would like to find a skillful reliable person to do so. Do recommend me someone who would be able to help me.

I attached a picture of the cue below. It has maple ebony maple splice handle which i think is called a connoisseur splice. It is a handmade cue.

Thank you

Help, anyone?

I just need the cue shorten, add a nice white delrin butt cap, add a joint and install a ferrule.

And will return the cue to me. It is not an expensive cue by pool cue standards but it does has some sentimental value to me.

Thank you

Best regards
Chris

This is what i hope the butt will look like. Sorry for the ugly mock up, not really gifted in arts and crafts.:( Basically the idea is Delrin buttcap with white, maple, black stack veneer ring.:D
