Just a quick update to this thread.....I bought the 62" elite cue, and although I liked the extra length, I did not like the larger diameter and lighter weight shaft (in comparison to my Mcdermott). The good news is I am only out $100.
Since I've been contemplating the purchase of a Z2 shaft for my Mcdermott anyway, I will probably go ahead and get the longer 30" shaft, play with it for a while with the Mcdermott. And then later on, get a custom 30" or 31" butt made for the Z2.
